1. What is said about the situation on earth before the Tower of Babel?
A: The whole world spoke the same language.
{Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. (Genesis 11:1)}
2. Why did God stop this big construction site?
A: God was furious about the ignorance of mankind as believing in building a tower to reach the heavens was a mean to emulate God. Therefore, God stopped the construction of the tower and the confused the language of mankind.
{The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible from them.” (Genesis 11:6)}
3. How did God stop this big construction site?
A: Lord reached the mankind and confused their language so they would not understand each other. The Lord also scattered mankind from the tower to the earth and men could not build the tower anymore.
{ “Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.” The Lord scattered them from there overall the earth, and they stopped building the city. (Genesis 11:7-8)}
